Follow an unlikely group of musicians in Kinshasa, capital of the war-torn Democratic Republic of Congo, from the streets to the world's stages. The band, Staff Benda Bilili, is a group of street musicians composed of four paraplegics and three able-bodied men. We Bought a Zoo
A memoir by Benjamin Mee, tells the true account of how the author and his family used their life savings to buy a dilapidated zoo, replete with 200 exotic animals facing destruction, in the English countryside. Tuesday's New DVD Releases

Here are the DVD releases for next Tuesday, 20 March 2012:

Amor en Transito
Mercedes is cleaning up her life in Buenos Aires in order to return to her boyfriend waiting for her in Barcelona. But something keeps her from leaving. She stumbles upon Ariel, who grows increasingly attracted to her and her complicated situation. Juan arrives in Argentina after many years of absence, looking for the woman he loves. Instead he finds Micaela, who was recently abandoned by her lover, who left her seeking something different.
Carnage
Two pairs of parents, one of whose child has hurt the other at a public park, meet to discuss the matter in a civilized manner. However, the evening becomes quite chaotic as the parents become increasingly childish.
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
Hoping to distance himself from the fallout of a libel conviction, journalist Mikael Blomkvist retreats to a remote island in Sweden's far north where the unsolved murder of a young girl still haunts her industrialist uncle forty years later. Ensconced in a cottage on the island where the killer may still roam, Blomkvist's investigation draws him into the secrets and lies of the rich and powerful, and throws him together with one unlikely ally: tattooed, punk hacker, Lisbeth Salander.
Hop
Blending state-of-the-art animation with live action, Hop tells the comic tale of Fred, an out-of-work slacker who accidentally injures the Easter Bunny and must take him in as he recovers. As Fred struggles with the world's worst houseguest, both will learn what it takes to finally grow up.
J Edgar
J. Edgar Hoover was head of the Federal Bureau of Investigation for nearly 50 years. Hoover was feared, admired, reviled and revered, a man who could distort the truth as easily as he upheld it. His methods were at once ruthless and heroic, with the admiration of the world his most coveted prize. But behind closed doors, he held secrets that would have destroyed his image, his career and his life.
The Muppets
On vacation in Los Angeles, Walter, the world's biggest Muppet fan, and his friends Gary and Mary from Smalltown, USA, discover the nefarious plan of oilman Tex Richman to raze the Muppet Theater and drill for the oil recently discovered beneath the Muppets' former stomping grounds. To stage the Greatest Muppet Telethon Ever and raise the $10 million needed to save the theater, Walter, Mary, and Gary help Kermit reunite the Muppets, who have all gone their separate ways.
One Lucky Elephant
One Lucky Elephant begins with circus producer David Balding's realization that Flora, the orphaned African elephant he adopted and made the star of his circus, is tired of performing. What unfolds is a nine-year odyssey to find Flora a good home. Caught between the human and animal world, Flora epitomizes the harsh reality elephants face in our expanding man-made world. One thing is certain, after watching this film, you'll never look at an elephant in a zoo or a circus in the same way again.
Roadie

Roadie is a show-biz saga about the working slobs who make live pop music performances happen.

Texas good ol' boy Travis W. Redfish (pop singer Meat Loaf) drives a Shiner beer truck on his appointed rounds, but his real ambition in life is to become a roadie (backstage technician) for his rock & roll idol, Alice Cooper. Travis shares his obsession for Cooper with his screechy best friend, Lola Bouilliabase (Kaki Hunter), much to the disgust of his grizzled pappy, Corpus C. Redfish (Art Carney).

After hearing that Cooper and his band are on tour, Travis sets out to catch up to them and offer his services. Along the way, he meets a number of pop music stars, Blondie, Asleep at the Wheel, Hank Williams Jr., Roy Orbison, and Ramblin' Jack Elliott, who are all working on their own tours.

Naive, but eager to learn the ways of the music business, Travis is occasionally sidetracked, but remains determined to make his rendezvous with destiny.

Sidewalls
A clever and touching comedy examining with charm how the architecture of a city conditions the live of two of its residents, is a touching, poignant film about love in an ever changing metropolis. Mixing animation, photography and graphic art, it reveals how the isolation and anxiety that come with modern life in a bustling city can inadvertently lead two hears destined for each other to find themselves despite all odds.
The Sitter
A comedy about a college student on suspension who is coaxed into babysitting the kids next door, though he is fully unprepared for the wild night ahead of him.
Telstar
Flamboyant and with a hair-trigger temper that more than once led to him pulling a gun on musicians, 1960s British pop producer Joe Meek makes Phil Spector look like a pussycat. From Meek's ascension to the top of the charts with 'Telstar' to his dabblings in the occult and implication in a boy's murder, the film charts the composer's tumultuous life.
Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy

At the height of the Cold War, a precarious operation goes deadly wrong, and the head of British Intelligence wonders if a double agent is leaking vital secrets. Brought out of retirement to expose the potential mole, master spy George Smiley is the only one who can be trusted to expose one of their own. Or can he? As the emotional and physical tolls mount on the high-ranking suspects, Smiley will be forced into the ultimate international spy game where everyone's motives are in question.
!Women Art Revolution

An entertaining and revelatory 'secret history' of feminist art, !Women Art Revolution deftly illuminates the under-explored movement through conversations, observations, archival footage, and works of visionary artists, historians, curators, and critics. Starting from its roots in the 1960s antiwar and civil rights protests, the film details developments in women's art through the 1970s and explores how the pioneering artists created the most significant art movement of the late 20th century.
WWE Elimination Chamber 2012

Six superstars vie for ultimate supremacy inside an unforgiving steel structure. At stake is a world championship and a date with the main event at WrestleMania. The Battle of Big Hole
In August 1877, a detachment of the US 7th Infantry attacked a sleeping camp of Nez Perce Indians in the remote mountains of southwest Montana. The attack was well planned, brutal in its sudden intensity, and at first appeared to go well for the infantry. But by day's end, the 196-strong force was under siege, pinned down by a small group of warriors in a clump of trees.

Breakout from Normandy
July 10th 1944. For six long weeks since D-Day, Allied forces have been caught in a battle trying to break out of the invasion beachhead at Normandy. In a final throw of the dice, the Allied commanders come up with an audacious plan, operation Cobra.

The Castle Tower
Our host, contractor Nick Mystrom, lands in Northern Idaho to erect a 2-story medieval castle tower in the same manner used by masons almost 1,000 years ago. Duel - Hamilton vs. Burr
On July 11, 1804, the U.S. Vice President Aaron Burr shot and mortally wounded the former Secretary of the Treasury, Alexander Hamilton, in one of the most notorious duels in history. Historians, re-enactors and descendants of the combatants shed light on the fatal encounter of Hamilton and Burr.

First Flight Around the World

Forgotten Sub of WWII
On June 20, 1941, the US Submarine O-9 headed out of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and nosed below the surface carrying 33 hands and never returned. Inquiries into her sinking failed to find answers. Today, our team of Deep Sea Detectives heads out with the National Undersea Research Center to take the first ever video survey of the wreck in an attempt to solve this long forgotten mystery.
