Tuesday's New DVD Releases

Here are the DVD releases for next Tuesday, 28 February 2012:

The Amish
Explores the insular religious community, whose intense faith and adherence to 400-year-old traditions have by turns captivated and baffled Americans for more than a century. The film examines the beliefs, lifestyle, and history of the Amish, as well as their complex relationship to mainstream American culture. Beautifully and lyrically photographed, The Amish is part history, part observational documentary that takes viewers into the world of the Amish.

Hugo
An orphan boy lives a secret life in the walls of a Paris train station. When Hugo encounters a broken machine, an eccentric girl, and the cold, reserved man who runs the toy shop, he is caught up in a magical, mysterious adventure that could put all of his secrets in jeopardy.

Johnny English Reborn
In his latest mission, Johnny English must stop a group of international assassins before they eliminate a world leader and cause global chaos. With just one shot at redemption, he will use (or misuse) the latest high-tech gadgets and every trick in his playbook to protect us all.

Law & Order - the 10th year
The men and women striving to bring justice to the streets of New York in 24 enthralling episodes, including the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit crossover, Entitled. Midsomer Murders Set 19

Mystery of a Masterpiece
In October 2009, a striking portrait of a young woman in Renaissance dress made world news headlines. Though it had been purchased two years earlier for around $20,000, the portrait is now thought to be an undiscovered masterwork by Leonardo da Vinci worth more than $100 million. Did cutting edge imaging analysis help tie the portrait to Leonardo? NOVA meets a new breed of experts who are approaching 'cold case' art mysteries as if they were crime scenes.

WWE Royal Rumble 2012
Last year's Royal Rumble was the biggest ever, when for the first time ever, 40 men competed. This year's event promises to be even bigger, packed with new surprises and the superstars of Raw and Smack Down, including past winners Alberto Del Rio, Randy Orton, and John Cena, and more will do everything in their power to overpower and outlast the competition as the Road to Wrestle Mania 28 begins at the Royal Rumble.

The Way

Director Bob Weide covers Allen's earliest film work in Take the Money and Run; Bananas; Sleeper; and Love and Death; frequent Oscar favorites such as Annie Hall, Manhattan, and more.
