Tuesday's - No, Friday's - New DVD Releases

Here are the DVD releases for next Tuesday, 1 January 2013 (Happy New Year!):

Being Human - Complete 2nd Season
Leading everyday lives is a lot harder than it looks for three twenty-something, supernatural roommates: vampire Aidan, ghost Sally, and werewolf Josh. Is it even possible? They discover that there's more to life (and the afterlife) than most 'normal' humans could ever imagine.
Climate of Doubt
Four years ago, climate change was hot. Politicians from both parties, pressed by an anxious public, seemed poised to act. But that was then. Today, public opinion about the climate issue has cooled, and politicians either ignore the issue or loudly proclaim their skepticism of scientific evidence that human activity is imperiling the planet. What's behind this reversal?
The Dark Knight Rises
It has been eight years since Batman vanished into the night, turning, in that instant, from hero to fugitive. Assuming the blame for the death of D.A. Harvey Dent, the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he and Commissioner Gordon both hoped was the greater good. For a time the lie worked, as criminal activity in Gotham City was crushed under the weight of the anti-crime Dent Act.
Justified Season 3
Season three introduces a new main villain, Robert Quarles of Detroit. The parent criminal organization connected to the Frankfort mafia has exiled Quarles to Kentucky. Quarles begins to muscle in on the local criminals, successfully supplanting them until Raylan begins investigating. Simultaneously, Dickie Bennett - the lone survivor of the Bennett clan - seeks the aid of the black residents of Noble's Holler and their leader Ellstin Limehouse in recovering his inheritance.

In order to gain influence over their North Carolina district, two CEOs seize an opportunity to oust long-term congressman Cam Brady by putting up a rival candidate. Their man, naive Marty Huggins, is director of the local Tourism Center.
Forks over Knives - the Extended Interviews

Forks Over Knives-The Extended Interviews goes the extra mile from where Forks Over Knives ended. With extended interviews and they go deeper and discuss the subjects that affect our health and wellbeing.
Lawless
The true story of the infamous Bondurant brothers: bootlegging siblings who made a run for the American Dream in Prohibition-era Virginia. In this epic outlaw tale, inspired by true-life tales of author Matt Bondurant's family in his novel The Wettest County in the World, the loyalty of three brothers is put to the test against the backdrop of the nation's most notorious crime wave.
Step Up: Revolution
Emily arrives in Miami with aspirations of becoming a professional dancer and soon falls in love with Sean, a young man who leads a dance crew called 'The Mob'. ParaNorman
From the makers of Coraline comes the story of Norman, a boy who must use his special powers to save his town from a centuries-old curse. In addition to spooky zombies, he'll also have to take on unpredictable ghosts, wily witches, and, worst of all, clueless grown-ups. But this young ghoul whisperer will soon find his paranormal activities pushed to their otherworldly limits.
Sparkle
Set in the 1960s, Sparkle and her two sisters form a singing group and dream of becoming stars beyond the affluent Detroit suburb where they come from, and where they are already well-known. But as the sisters become more famous, the close-knit nature of their family begins to fall apart.
Step Up: Revolution
Emily arrives in Miami with aspirations of becoming a professional dancer and soon falls in love with Sean, a young man who leads a dance crew called 'The Mob'. When a wealthy business man threatens to develop The Mob's historic neighborhood and displace thousands-of people, they all work together to turn their performance art into protest art, and risk losing their dreams to fight for a greater cause.
Tales of Masked Men
Explore Lucha Libre and its role in Latino communities in the United States and Mexico. Part circus and part athletic contest, the sport, famous for its masked wrestlers, provides a sense of "home" for new immigrants in the United States.
The Apparition
When frightening events start to occur in their home, a young couple Kelly and Ben discover they are being haunted by a presence that was accidentally conjured during a university parapsychology experiment. The horrifying apparition feeds on their fear and torments them no matter where they try to run.
