Here are the DVD releases for next Tuesday, 1 November 2011:

The 2012 Anthology

It also reveals the many modern day methods of destruction and disaster theories from very real (nuclear arsenals) to controversial (global warming) to futuristic (nanotechnology, cyborgs, and robots).

Bunraku
A mysterious drifter and a young Japanese warrior arrive in a town that has been terrorized by outrageous and virulent criminals. Each is obsessed with his separate mission, and both will be guided by the wisdom of the Bartender at the Horseless Horseman Saloon. The two eventually join forces to bring down the corrupt and contemptuous reign of Nicola, the awesomely evil 'woodcutter' and his lady Alexandra, a femme fatale with a secret past.

Cars 2
Star racecar Lightning McQueen and the incomparable tow truck Mater take their friendship on the road from Radiator Springs to exciting new places when they head overseas to compete in the first-ever World Grand Prix to determine the world's fastest car. But the road to the championship is filled with plenty of potholes, detours, and hilarious surprises when Mater gets caught up in an intriguing adventure of his own: international espionage!

Crazy Stupid Love
Fortysomething Cal Weaver is living the dream: good job, nice house, great kids, and marriage to his high school sweetheart. So when Cal learns that she has cheated on him and wants a divorce, his 'perfect' life quickly unravels. Cal, who hasn't dated in decades, stands out as the epitome of un-smooth, so handsome player Jacob Palmer takes him on as wingman and protege.

The Great Explorers

How the States Got their Shape - Season 1
Why don't people from New England pronounce their 'R's? How come some Pennsylvania Amish use cell phones? How did Northern Californians get so liberal? The clues are right on the map. Brian Unger hits the road, makes irreverent observations about how people think, speak, and act, and discovers their surprising connections to geography. With its crooked lines and odd breaks, the outline of America is a puzzle to be solved. Includes the acclaimed special that inspired the series.

Rulers of the Ancient World - Tyrants

From Caesar's legacy to the destruction of Genghis Khan, take an in-depth and varied look at the many men who helped shape the future of the world, both for the better and worst. What unfolds are two stories, generations apart, but everlasting in their universal notion of love, hope and friendship.

Tabloid
In the late 1970s, Miss Wyoming Joyce McKinney became a tabloid staple when she kidnapped her former beau, a Mormon missionary, and tied him to a bed to 'deprogram' his religious beliefs - by having nonstop sex with him.
