b. Read no novel that has been called "brave."
c. Attend no concert that has been called "long but worth every minute."
d. Attend no opera that begins with the word "Der."
e. Attend no other opera.
When you're young, you know everything. As you get older, you start realizing just how much you don't know - and start learning the things it would have been great to know when you were young and knew everything!

Aging is inevitable, eye-opening, and often pretty funny.
