FREE Tax Preparation

Tax Help at the Library

Still haven’t gotten around to preparing your taxes? We can help. The library offers free tax help from volunteers of AARP (American Association of Retired Persons). This agency comes into our libraries and prepares taxes for individuals with the proper documentation, which includes ID, checkbook, tax receipts, last year's tax form and any pertinent documentation to help in preparing the taxes. Remember, these are done on a first come first served basis, so come early.

For a list of libraries and hours for tax preparation, follow these steps;
1. Visit our homepage, lvccld.org
2. Click on “Events”
3. Enter the terms, “Tax help” in the search box under “Keyword”
4. Click on the “Event title” for more information

This is a free service offered to our library patrons, so take advantage of it NOW. If you have used this service, we would love to hear your comments on the success of this program.
