Library Events – Reading Las Vegas!

Today starts our 8th Annual Reading Las Vegas month! This year we are doing a green theme with programs and events designed to entertain and educate around the timely subject of environmental sustainability.

Throughout the month of April, there will be Reading Las Vegas Events all over the district that you can attend! Be one of the first to sign up for the program starting April 1st, and you’ll receive a Reading Las Vegas tote bag, generously paid for by the Las Vegas Clark County Library District Foundation (while supplies last).

The last seven years we have picked out a specific book to read, but this year we are trying something a little different. We have a list of recommended books that follow along our green theme. Many of these will also be discussed in the book groups that are at the individual libraries.

Don’t forget there are prizes!! Every time you attend a Reading Las Vegas event, read a selection from our recommended reading list or other book, eBook or eAudio book of your choice you can fill out an entry form. You can either fill out the Entry Form from the website or at your favorite library.
